Boyceville is a rural community with a population of 1100 located about 45 minutes from Eau Claire to the east and the Twin Cities to the west. We are currently taking applications for a full-time officer. Candidates must be able to work independently and stay active in a small community, taking firm but fair enforcement actions, and be willing to address everything from ordinance complaints to major cases, working all aspects of the case from start to end.
This position is primarily scheduled for working evenings and weekends but we can offer a great deal of flexibility when it comes to balancing work and family life. Our benefits package is comparable to others in the area, and we have a relaxed and positive working environment. We have good equipment and invest time and resources in training our employees, valuing them as people and not just cogs in a machine.
